IN YOUR EXECUTIVE SUMMARY, YOU'LL SEE HOW THAT BREAKDOWN IS ALLOCATED. ONE OF THOSE PROJECTS IS SPECIFIC TO FREEDOM PARK IMPROVEMENTS AND THERE IS AN ALLOTTED AMOUNT OF 900,000 THAT IS MEANT FOR THE ACTIVE RECREATION AREA. WE DON'T HAVE A FIELD FOR THE KIDS ABOVE 12 YEARS OLD TO PLAY ON. THE FIELDS THAT ARE AT FREEDOM PARK DO NOT MEET THE REQUIREMENTS FOR LITTLE LEAGUE FUNCTIONS AT THAT AGE GROUP. LITTLE LEAGUE ITSELF DOES RUN ALL THE WAY TO 16 YEARS OLD, SO THERE IS A CHUNK OF KIDS THAT DO SOMEWHAT MISS OUT BECAUSE TRAVELING TO LAKE JACKSON OR IN SOME CASES ALVIN ON A MULTI-NIGHT A WEEK BASIS IS JUST TOO MUCH. SO THERE IS THAT. THE SECOND ITEM THAT WOULD BE OF MOST IMPORTANCE TO US WOULD BE THE COVERED BATTING CAGES. CURRENTLY, THE BATTING CAGES THAT WE HAVE OUT THERE, IT'S MY UNDERSTANDING THAT THE LEAGUE HAS PUT THOSE IN. THEY'RE NOT COVERED, THERE'S NO LIGHTS, SO MOST OF THE EVENINGS THEY'RE RENDERED ALMOST USELESS, WHICH IS INCONVENIENT AT BEST. THAT WOULD BE OUR SECOND PRIORITY BASED OFF OF THAT LIST.
